WHEN EGOS COLLIDE - MIXING FRIENDSHIP, EGO, AND BUSINESS

Recently I saw a Facebook post by an artist by the Name of Marvel... that was talking about the unity in a certain city not being what it should be.. and comments from numerous rappers, producers, promoters, etc were all trying to discuss possible solutions and causes to the issues at hand...
 

For some reason many of you rappers, singers, producers, promoters, DJs, etc all have a sense of entitlement... for some reason you all seem to think you are the Lebron James of

your craft... Rappers want in the club for free... dont want to wait in line... DJs, Producers, Bloggers, Singers, Models etc all want the VIP treatment in everything you do... well why would promoters want to pay you to perform if you never supported them? Im not talking filling up free space in a club... Im talkin coming out dressed to impress spending a little money to get in etc... these gestures like paying for a service go a long way... I see promoters constantly try to help artists out. They are not under any obligation to do so... the ones I see that do it or have done it... do it out of the kindness of their heart. So be appreciative..

Publically attacking the DJs, Promoters etc on social media are only going to alienate you from industry people... nobody wants to work with drama queens...so if you feel a certain kind of way about people... be a g and address the individual privately... putting on a show for facebook or twitter or whatever wont get you a record deal... you are still a local artist.... know your place. 

Nobody on this earth owes you anything... treat this like business... pay for the products or services you want... stop spending your money on strippers, shoes or backpage hookers...invest in yourself.. friend or not..if you support what I do dont be afraid to pay for them... I have a family to feed but so does everyone else... your thanks wont pay my lightbill.

Negativity only breeds more negativity... dont be afraid to have a positive attitude... on that note I am done with my rant... thanks for listening... share or comment if you agree.
